These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the CareNav platform and services. By accessing or using CareNav, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the CareNav platform.
Overview of Services
CareNav provides software that helps hospitals and healthcare organizations manage insurance claims, insurer communications, and related administrative workflows.
The platform may include features such as:
Claim submission support
Email integration with hospital insurance desks
Query management and tracking
Automated document organization
AI-assisted response generation for insurer queries
CareNav is a workflow and operations platform. It does not provide medical advice, insurance decisions, or financial services.
Eligibility
CareNav is intended for use by hospitals, healthcare providers, and authorized staff members.
By using the platform, you confirm that:
You are authorized to act on behalf of your organization
You have permission to connect organizational email accounts or upload documents required for insurance claim processing
Account Access and Security
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
Hospitals are responsible for ensuring that only authorized staff members access the CareNav platform.
Users must promptly notify CareNav if they believe their account has been compromised.
Email Integrations
CareNav allows hospitals to connect their email accounts in order to:
Retrieve insurer queries sent to hospital insurance desks
Send claim-related emails such as pre-authorization requests and claim submissions
Email integrations may use secure authorization mechanisms such as OAuth or credential-based protocols such as IMAP and SMTP.
By connecting an email account, the user authorizes CareNav to access the mailbox for the purposes described in this platform.
CareNav does not access emails unrelated to claim workflows and does not use email data for advertising or marketing.
Acceptable Use
Users agree not to use CareNav for any unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
Users must not:
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
Upload malicious software or harmful files
Use the platform to send spam or unrelated communications
CareNav reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for misuse of the platform.
Data Ownership
Hospitals retain ownership of all data and documents uploaded or processed within the CareNav platform.
CareNav processes this data solely to provide the services described and does not sell customer data.
Service Availability
CareNav aims to provide reliable and secure service but does not guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.
The platform may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen technical issues.
Third-Party Services
CareNav integrates with third-party services such as email providers including Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
CareNav is not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party systems.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareNav shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.
CareNav is not responsible for decisions made by insurers, TPAs, or hospitals regarding claims.
Changes to the Terms
CareNav may update these Terms from time to time.
Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
Termination
CareNav reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform if these Terms are violated.
Hospitals may discontinue use of the platform at any time.
